I was prompted to create a logo for a construction company. The name of the company is Russell Contracting and whenever I see these logos on the side of construction sites, I am reminded of early 1990s logos. Because of this, I wanted to bring that late 1990s feel into my design. I utilized a triangle in my design because of the strong nature of the triangle shape. In addition, this works to create a right angle and a strong foundation. The combination of colors are complimentary to each other, both in value and in saturation. The shape of the orange triangle is also a sentiment that carries out throughout the entirety of the logo itself, allowing for the mark to be place in the bottom left corner of any construction site banner.
