For Cloud National Park, I knew that this logo would have to be versatile, serving as both a logo and a patch. Often times, employees will have a patch of the park the work for. By just starting the logo out with this idea in mind, I knew that I wanted to create a scene within the bounding shape. I decided to make use of the natural feature of the park, the low rising clouds. These clouds are what the park is named for so it would be a shame to not showcase them in this scene. I included a star to tie its connection to the American wilderness. I also included the establishing date to showcase how long this park has existed and how long it has sought to develop preservation.
